Lane Bryant Conference - Day 2*

Just checking in quickly this morning before I get dressed and head down to the hotel lobby to begin the day. This time zone change from central to eastern is really doing a number on me. I couldn't get to sleep until well past midnight local time, and am now up at 6:00 - thought it feels like 5:00 to my body! All in the name of fun times, though. And it certainly has been fun!

Last night, I met up with Alisa of The Budget Fashionista, Kimberly of Fab Finds Under $50 and Tina from T Minus, T Plus. What a great group of women! Funny, smart, gorgeous - each one of them lived up to everything I thought they would be (you know, based on reading their blogs). We had a little adventure - Miss Tina accidentally checked into the wrong hotel, so we went to rescue her. Then out of nowhere, a tornado/hurricane type of storm! Kimberly was at the helm of a sweet rental car and navigated the torrential downpour and flying debris like a pro.

We made it to dinner, where we talked, we laughed, we ate seafood - it was great. And now, we begin the actual coference itself. We have a full, fabulous day packed in which we'll be go-go-going from 7:45 AM until 9:00 PM. I'll check in again later tonight to let you know how everything goes!
