Hitting the Pool

I'm spending today lounging by a pool with Dan and a couple of my good friends. So it only makes sense that today's outfit post is of my swimming ensemble. Don't worry - it'll be no more offensive than yesterday's see-through dress.

Total accident by the way. The damn thing has an extra panel to cover what should be covered! A malfunctioning panel apparently, as pointed out to me by one of my fabulous readers and my mom; so it's doubtful that dress will be making any appearances again anytime soon.

This is last year's swimsuit, and I couldn't wait to pull it out again. The retro shape - from the sweetheart neckline to the ruching across the bust and tummy - suits my body. I love the detachable halter strap (no tan lines... or in my case burn lines), and the tie back allows me to get just the right fit through my torso.

The clothes & accessories:
Swimsuit - Jantzen, from Marshalls
Cover up- La Blanca, from Marshalls
Diamond stud earrings - Lia Sophia
Aveeno Continuous Sunscreen SPF 100+

  8. Can you help me? I don't know what kind of bathing suit would be good for my body type. I'm plus sized and shaped like an apple. Or a barrel.. Depending on who you are (my mom says i am shaped like a barrel, my husband and I say I am shaped like an apple)
