London Fashion Week's Plus Size Models

Last week saw Fashion Week come and go in New York City, complete with a plus size fashion show produced by One Stop Plus. While OSP's fashion show wasn't formally part of New York Fashion Week, it was still a monumentous occasion within the plus size fashion world. It received a lot of great press and showcased gorgeous plus size women modeling stylish, but wearable, clothing. For a superb recap, check out Stylish Curves' commentary on the event.

This week, the fashion spotlight moves over to London Fashion Week, where plus size style and models are out in full force. UK clothier, Evans, launched the latest collaboration line with Beth Ditto. Fellow blogger Nicolette Mason is in London, covering the events for Curvy Vogue, and has some really great pictures of the Beth Ditto launch party up on her blog.

And finally, here are a few shots of two curvy models who rocked the runway during one of the London shows. Laura and Hayley are part of 12 Plus UK Model Management, and they look gorgeous! It seems as though London's designers are a little more inclusive of different body types in their fashion shows than the US and Europe. It's fun to see women who look more like us strutting their stuff.

  1. That's some interesting stuff! And that link to Beth Ditto at Evans has me wondering how much international shipping is! :)
